Insert vector graphics images using Corel PhotoPaint

First of all, it should be understood that this tool is specially designed for use bitmap and raster images.

However, when you try to export a photo with these characteristics, the same program will do a small bitmap conversion of the document to open it.

This process of converting vector images is known as rasterization or raster file, which you can work with.

Thus, there are two ways to input Vector graphics using Corel PhotoPaint, that is, by importing or opening one of these.

Open a vector file in a new Corel PhotoPaint sheet

This allows you to give it the default format given by the program (cpt). As for the conversion, it will be the same in both processes.

Then, to proceed, select the tab at the top left that says " Fillet "And consequently choose" apri «.

In this way you search and open the location where the desired document is located, click with the pointer and choose the button " apri ".

Then, before running it, a new window will appear with the bitmap conversion options, in which you need to adjust some parameters.

These are the resolution, height and width, as well as the color. If you are satisfied with this, we select " Accept »And the image will appear on the white sheet with the format extension«. cpt «.

Import the vector file into the program

import a vector graphics image using Corel PhotoPaint, a relatively similar process to the one seen above is required.

Unlike the previous one, which was taken as the background layer of the document, this one can be used as a complementary element within a project.

So, you have to go up " Fillet »And browse in the options bar until you find» Import »Which will show a pop-up bar during selection.

In it you need to locate the desired file, choose it and click on the button » Import Which will bring us back to the document.

In this case, first choose where the file will go before the conversion window appears, adjust it and then click » OK «, Causing the element to be inserted.

Advice on optimizing conversions

If you are an expert in the use of graphics programs and image formats, this may not be a problem. But there are those who are not.

For this reason it is important to point out that when exporting or opening vectors, the ideal is to use a standard resolution, that is 100 dpi.

As for size and color, if you are working with large objects, the ideal is to lower the height and width, without forgetting to tick " Maintain proportions ". On the other hand, the color should be left as is.

When starting to work with an image that you only want to make improvements to, it is important to know how to change the resolution or size of the paper you will be working on.

Adobe Photo Paint editor offers you the opportunity to work with photos, images, text and GIFs. If in your case you want to work with a photo that has turned out to be blurry and out of focus, this editor allows you to correct it.
