Android phones were the competition from Apple phones. Having the operating system iOS, both competitors since their inception have added and improved the functions provided in their systems. Moving from its design to having an online store where we can download applications. Among the most popular are WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Telegram, a very interesting app.

This messaging app was born in 2013 by the Russian brothers Nikolái Durov and Pável Durov, born to create an alternative to what is the giant WhatsApp. Telegram has technology that many messaging apps don't have, like MTProto. This is for both multiple sessions and for transfer files regardless of their size and format.

Telegram has approx 500 millions of users, it had an incredible take off. Since it has grabbed attention with each of its amazing features and offers more options in sections like security and privacy than its core competencies. In addition to having no limits in functions such as groups, where you can have 200 thousand members and between them have common conversations and voice channels.

Telegram, like WhatsApp, are applications that touch the social network section, however they are focused on the instant messaging section. Telegram's goal is exchange of messages and file mass spreading, it has a very nice minimalist interface, features like voice chat, message encryption and much more.

Creating an account in Telegram is very simple, in fact there is a version of Telegram for PC. Where without a mobile phone it is possible to send messages through the application, the message option is also customizable. However, since we can both schedule messages and trigger a pop-up notification for messages, today we're going to teach you how disable pop-up notifications.

Pop-up notifications are one of the ways in which Telegram communicates that we have received a message. These on many occasions also reproduce a sound to attract our attention.

For this reason they are activated on our device by default, essentially their function is to keep us updated on what is happening on our device. Likewise, if a message arrives or we have something pending.

Disabling notifications on Telegram is the same as silencing? - Differences between disabled and mute

Disabling notifications in Telegram simply serves to prevent alarms from reaching you for a time defined by you. In these cases, if you turn off notifications, you will not receive any notification, but the notification will remain in the application. That way it won't bother you, but when you want to see it, it will be there.

On the other hand, silencing notifications is a practice that is done more when you want to avoid notifications from a specific person. This way we don't have to delete or block it to prevent communication. If we decide to silence someone, when this person sends us something, the notification will not reach us or appear when we open Telegram.
