You the feeling or feel that someone is spying on your WhatsApp? I will show you the symptoms that your WhatsApp account has been hacked and how to fix it.

Marks that a WhatsApp account has been hacked

Some or a combination of the following symptoms may suggest that your WhatsApp is spied on. However, this might not be the case as there could be other reasons why your phone is behaving the way it is.

1. The temperature rises

If the temperature of your smartphone suddenly increases and becomes hot, you should be careful. Powerful apps running in the background of your phone often cause your phone to overheat and it could definitely be caused by spyware.

2. The battery runs out suddenly

Spy apps occasional charges can significantly drain battery power, causing a sudden drop in battery life.

If you find that you need to constantly charge the battery, even when you rarely use your device, there may be a hidden app on your device.

These spy apps often use location services to track the device and Wi-Fi or mobile data to send information about spy device and therefore consume a lot battery.

3. Increased use of data

I mentioned earlier, most of the spy apps installed for track or spy on a device often uses your data connection to transmit information to the spy.

This means that they will use your data or your Wi-Fi connection. So if you suspect your WhatsApp is spied on, the best way to be sure is to check your data usage.

On Android devices, you can find this information in the My Data Manager section of your device settings. On iPhone, you will find the data usage settings in the device settings.

4. Strange background noises

This is another way to know if your WhatsApp has been hacked when you hear a background noise when you make or receive a phone call.

This is because spy apps that are installed to monitor your WhatsApp can also be used to monitor other data on your device, such as phone calls and messages.

One of the ways someone can monitor your phone calls is by recording them, and the act of recording phone calls can cause strange background noise. You have to be careful when you experience it too often.

However, keep in mind that one of the above signs doesn't necessarily mean that your device is being spied on, but seeing at least two or three of them can be a sign that someone is spying on your device.

Methods to hack WhatsApp

Now I will share with you some valuable methods to spy on your WhatsApp account.

1. WhatsApp website

Web WhatsApp is a feature of WhatsApp that allows you to access your WhatsApp account on your computer.

You have to scan the QR code from your mobile device, then you can easily access your WhatsApp account on your computer in real time.

Also, you can access your WhatsApp account on other devices using an app.

This app helps you access your WhatsApp account on various smartphones, you just need to scan the QR code of the main WhatsApp account and voila!

2. Your device's backup file

The moment the hacker gains access to your device, within minutes he will be able to read or delete WhatsApp conversations on another device.

After you get the backup file through the file manager, you can send it through Bluetooth o Xender to another device, or you can use the auto backup apps and directly email all your WhatsApp conversations in plain text by installing this app on your device and uninstalling it when you are done.

The last WhatsApp update is somewhat immune to this method, but hackers may soon find a way around it. It is always recommended to update WhatsApp frequently.

3. Open/unsecure/unknown Wi-Fi networks

Just as it is risky to use one unknown Wi-Fi connection with your email account, it is also possible for your WhatsApp to be compromised by the WhatsApp sniffer on a Wi-Fi network.

Since every device has a unique mac address, if the spy is able to spoof your mac address, he will be able to see all your WhatsApp activity.

4. Spy apps

There are some software light from third parties that help spy on your phone and WhatsApp conversations. Once the spy accesses your phone, install the spyapp on your device.

Most of these apps are not easy to track down, let alone uninstall. Even if you succeed to track and find the app, you can't uninstall it easily.

Once installed on your phone, they are hidden somewhere if the system apps. These apps can record all the activities on your smartphone as well automatically send them to the spy without you realizing it.

These can include who accesses your phone, the applications you open on your phone, your chats, photos, call logs, call recordings, etc.

The following image shows the control interface of a spy app I recently used.

It is capable of sending screenshots of who unlocks the phone, screenshots of applications they open, SMS, WhatsApp chats, photos, location, contacts, etc.

How to fix a hacked WhatsApp account

1. Log out of WhatsApp Web

To stop it, click Sign out of all computers. This will prevent the intruder from accessing your activities. However, you should be careful to intermittently check and log out of all unknown devices.

If you can't find any device connected via WhatsApp Web, your device may not be a hacker from Web WhatsApp. Continue with the following points.

2. Lock your apps

App Locker it allows you to block any app on your smartphone and thus protect it. Therefore, when an attacker tries to copy files from the WhatsApp folder to your smartphone, he will have to unlock the phone first.

We also recommend protecting your smartphone with a password: your fingerprint is an extra layer of security.

3. Install the spyware and malware removal app

There are some anti-spyware apps that can detect spyware, malware or harmful Trojan apps on your phone and remove them.

They can stop people from spying on you and keep your phone safe. An example of these apps available on the Play Store is SpyWare & Malware Remover gratuito.

4. Manually scan for suspicious apps

You can also check the presence of spyware apps by manually checking the apps on your device.

Most spyware applications require Device Manager to be enabled to work effectively. You can disable this option for any app you suspect.

  1. Open Settings on your phone
  2. Go to Security > Device Administrators
  3. Find the suspicious app and uncheck the box next to it. (Note the application name)
  4. Click Disable to disable administrator rights.
  5. Go back to Settings and go to Application manager.

  7. Touch the app to see the details.
  8. Tap permission and deny all app permissions.
  9. Locate the Uninstall option and uninstall the app from your device. Since the device admin option is disabled for this app, you can see the uninstall option. Without this option disabled, the app's uninstall option will be disabled.

Tips to secure your WhatsApp account

1. Always log out of WhatsApp Web

Remember to close all WhatsApp web sessions after using them. An intruder can access your WhatsApp conversations if you don't exit your web browser.

2. Block WhatsApp

Your device's screen lock feature is not secure enough to protect WhatsApp. WhatsApp doesn't offer any blocking mode, at least not yet, so you'll need to install third-party apps to prevent WhatsApp from being spied on.

3. Do not connect to unknown Wi-Fi networks

The most favorable way for hackers to access your applications is through unsecured Wi-Fi connections.

Most email hacking is done on insecure Wi-Fi networks, just like the rest of the apps on your cell phone, including your WhatsApp account.

Using insecure Wi-Fi network connections is a very risky business and may be the only way your WhatsApp account can be compromised.

4. Do not install apps from unknown sources

Allowing apps to be installed on your phone from unknown sources makes your phone vulnerable to hacking if someone gains access to it.

Always install apps from the Google Play Store. Check developer details, ratings and reviews of any app before installing it on your phone.

5. Don't let anyone else access your phone

After finding out that with just one minute of access to your phone, anyone can use WhatsApp web or a backup file to access your WhatsApp conversations, you should know that it is very risky to let anyone else access your phone.

You should not share your phone with strangers as anyone can install a third party app on your smartphone to hack your phone or WhatsApp account.
